Behind the grass cloaked roof and round door a quirky space awaits. This handmade wooden yurt appears to have grown up from the land and was created using only reclaimed or recycled materials which include an elm floor and oak dining table that seats six.
After a long walk on Bodmin moor, settle down into a big pile of cushions and warm your pasties in the toasty Rayburn. After dark, stoke the fire pit and sizzle sausages on the BBQ as you dine by the light of the candles and the moon. Leave your devices in the car and enjoy a digital detox. This is the perfect place to finish a book (or start writing your own!).

Important stuff

Check in between 3-6pm and check out 10am. Bring torches, wellies, waterproofs and matches/lighters!

We kindly request that you leave the space as you found it & no shoes inside please!

Washing

There are plenty of showers, a variety of gas or wood fired, plus a wood fired bath. Each accommodation has their own private compost loo. Shared outdoor washing up areas.

Sleeping Arrangements

One double bed and two double futon beds. Space for 1 baby no charge, travel cot can be provided. Space for unlimited pets no charge. Space for 4 children.

Heating, lighting & bedding

Bed linen and towels provided. Wood-fired Rayburn cooker inside. Solar LED light and candles. Mill Valley is off-grid with no electricity. No plug sockets!

Cooking

Wood-fired Rayburn cooker inside and outside fire-pit. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a kettle provided. All cooking facilities at Mill Valley are wood fired. Guests are welcome to bring their own camping stove in case of typical Cornish weather!
