Pets

We know that for dog owners, it just isn’t a holiday without your best friend! The site has an acre and a half of secure land...a huge garden for (well behaved) dogs to play in off the lead!

Walks

Just a short walk down the path, you are immersed in a beautiful woodland walk, where there is a natural swimming pool (that your dog will guarantee to love, too!). In spring, expect to see blue bells. You may also catch the sight of a kingfisher, also!

Shop

We have newly built an onsite shop where you will find logs, charcoal, firelighters, kindling - and a few locally made treasures to take back with you and remind you of your stay! Open 9-10am and 5-6pm.

Beaches

Not only are we situated in such beautiful surroundings, but we are also only 15 minutes away from the coastline. We recommend catching the sunset at New Polzeath, or taking your dog to Daymer Bay.

Washing

Here you will find 3 wood fired showers, 3 gas showers and 1 wood fired bath - enough for each accommodation to have their own, so you will never be waiting! Each accommodation has it’s own private composting loo. We recommend that the wood fired bath is best accompanied with candles and a glass of wine!

No electricity!

Our aim is to be as eco friendly as we can. Wood burners will keep you nice and toasty as the evenings draw in, and your accommodation will be lit with either solar lights or tea lights. 1 bag of logs are provided free of charge - then sold in our shop for £6.

Staying true to off grid nature, all cooking facilities at Mill Valley are wood fired. Each accommodation is kitted out with a indoor wood burning stove and outdoor BBQ. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a kettle provided! There is a communal fridge and freezer on site.
