The Magic Mushroom
Experience all things magic in this newly built mushroom themed yurt.
The Magic Mushroom is a simple handcrafted space constructed entirely from local timber that we milled ourselves. It is set in it’s own private garden it has a comfy double bed, a wood burner, a few book shelves, candles and an old seed drill as a centre piece that we reclaimed from our farm. This is a place to take a step back from the tech of modern life and really let yourself unwind. Just outside you will find a small treehouse which can serve as a kids bedroom with the roll mats provided or a day space to lounge around in. You have your own private BBQ and your own composting loo!
Important stuff
Check in between 3-6pm and check out 10am. Bring torches, wellies, waterproofs and matches/lighters!
We kindly request that you leave the space as you found it & no shoes inside please!
Washing
There are plenty of showers, a variety of gas or wood fired, plus a wood fired bath. Each accommodation has their own private compost loo. Shared outdoor washing up area.
Sleeping Arrangements
One double bed. A private treehouse for your little ones to either hide out in our stay the night!
Heating, lighting & bedding
Bed linen and towels provided. Wood burner inside. Solar LED light and candles. Mill Valley is off-grid with no electricity. No plug sockets!
Cooking
Log burner inside and fire pit outside. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a kettle provided. All cooking facilities at Mill Valley are wood fired. Guests are welcome to bring their own camping stove in case of typical Cornish weather!
Wood
The first bag of logs is provided free of charge, extra bags are available to buy at our shop (£6 per bag).
