The Woodlander
A handmade wagon on wheels. It may only be 15 feet long but the Woodlander is deceptively spacious inside. Climb onto he deck and through the round door to a cosy space for two with a lofty double bed looking out over the Cornish countryside and a sofa for snuggling. Every inch has been hewn from recycled or local materials. There’s a topsy turvy living roof, a chunky oak frame and big windows to let in the light and the views. Watch the smoke curling out of the chimney and into the tree tops of the bluebell wood next door as you wait for the kettle to boil for your morning brew. Then follow it up with a campfire breakfast of bangers and beans cooked outside on the fire pit.
Important stuff
Check in between 3-6pm and check out 10am. Bring torches, wellies, waterproofs and matches/lighters!
Neil and Lisa kindly request that you leave the space as you found it. No shoes inside please!
Washing
There are plenty of showers, a variety of gas or wood fired, plus a wood fired bath. Each accommodation has their own private compost loo. Shared outdoor washing up areas.
Sleeping Arrangements
One double bed. Space for 1 child no charge, sleeping on a double futon mattress. Pets welcome free of charge.
Heating, lighting & bedding
Bed linen and towels provided. Wood-burner. Candle light. Mill Valley is off-grid with no electricity!
Cooking
Inside wood-burning stove. Outside BBQ and fire pit. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a kettle provided. All cooking facilities at Mill Valley are wood fired. Guests are welcome to bring their own camping stove.
Wood
The first bag of logs is provided free of charge, extra bags of logs and kindling are available to buy.
